Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park offers a dog park with two separate sections for large dogs and small dogs on the north end of the park. This trendy off-leash dog park features a neat paw shaped water fountain on each section, turf, great shade spots, and benches.

Pet Policy
Dog Park Etiquette (Petiquette)
Be mindful that during your visit to our parks, you and your pet may encounter wildlife. Therefore, we strongly suggest you maintain awareness of your surroundings at all times.
Dogs must remain leashed at all times when they are outside the designated dog park/leash-free area as per city ordinance
.
Dogs are not permitted to be unleashed in the parking lot in route to or from the park.
Dogs are not permitted on city beaches unless it is a designated Dog Beach or service animal.
Dogs that bark persistently are a nuisance and will be removed from the premises.
All dogs and their owners must follow Dog Park and Leash-Free Area Rules & Regulations.
Dog Park and Leash-Free Area Rules and Regulations
1. Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and injuries caused by them.
2. Dogs must be properly licensed and wear ID tags at all times.
3. Owners must clean up after their dogs and immediately fill any holes their dogs dig.
4. Dogs showing aggression towards people, as determined by Parks Department personnel, will be
removed from the park.
5. Dogs using the park must be at least 4 months old.
6. Dogs must never be left unattended.
7. Children must be under constant supervision.
8. Dogs “in heat” will not be allowed inside the park.
9. Dogs must be leashed before entering and leaving the park.
10. Dogs off their leash are limited to two dogs per person inside the park.
11. Rawhide and food not allowed inside the dog park.
12. Dogs are the only type animals permitted in dog parks.
13. Violators will be subject to removal from the park and suspension of park privileges.
14. Dogs must be under voice command at all times.
